WELCOME
“There is one, Christ Jesus, who can speak to my condition. And this I knew experientially.” George Fox’s profound discovery nearly 450 years ago still applies to Quakers today.
We are convinced that Christ wants each of us to have a direct and personal relationship with him and each one of us is responsible for our relationship with Christ. Intermediaries such as priests or pastors are not necessary to have this relationship. This is the basis for the Quaker view that each member of a meeting is a minister.
In our modern world, internet interactive sites, chat rooms, and blogs often attempt to substitute for real world experiences and relationships. We welcome you to our web site, but please remember that there is no on-line substitute for a direct and personal relationship with Christ. Nor is there an on-line substitute for a gathered meeting of Friends for Worship. |
